After learning about weathering and erosion, students built their own sand models with various landforms, and then introduced water on a slope. Things changed!
We had a great time exploring Google AR (Augmented Reality), a new product in the development stages.
We celebrated Reading Week by reading with 1st graders in Mr. Leyes class! So fun!
We also read Bartholomew and the Oobleck, and made a "non-Newtonian substance", which has properties of both a liquid or a solid.

We learned about mass production and assembly lines by "creating" cars of our own! Later we created cars using an assembly line! We moved FAST!
The students are working hard at they Read, Research and Write their way across America! The publishing part seems to be the favorite!

We learned about "pepper jelly" when we read "Me and Uncle Romie", so we had to try some! It was a tad spicy!
The "bussers" have left, and the "walkers" and "SPACERS" get crazy on a Friyay!

Our geese were happy to have a little rain earlier this week, and greet Ms. Shawver in the morning before the students arrived!
Students each created their own Google slide show to demonstrate what they learned aobut the 5 different strands of Social Studies. They even learned some fancy tricks to make their slide shows more interesting. They had fun sharing with their peers!
